植物是透過自然的光合作用,从而奠定生命存在的基礎。新的人工光合作用是通過利用可再生能源，模仿自然的過程，有幫未來農業的發展，也為人類長時間探索和移居宇宙，帶來了新的希望。
太空種植系列，主要是探討生命、宇宙為題，表達人和技術與植物之間的關係。作品概念是借用NASA 的科學實驗（太空種植）相片，根據2016年，由女航天員 Scott Kelly所公開發佈的影像，首次成功在外太空的無重力環境下，培植出盛開的百日菊。為人類新的里程碑、生命的誕生感到一份喜悅。

Contemporary artist Yiu Chi Leung conducts his creative work in Hong Kong. In 2018, he graduated in Master degree of Visual Arts, major in studio and media arts at Baptist University. In 2015, he also graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) with a Bachelor degree in Fine Art, major in paintings. Yiu Chi Leung's talent is well recognized through Mr. Jerry Kwan Memorial scholarship. In 2016, Yiu Chi Leung became a Top Ten Young Talents in Hong Kong. His work, created based on a spectrum of media such as paintings, drawings, installation, photography, and mixed media, have been collected and displayed in various exhibitions around the world.
Yiu Chi Leung's art created mostly through drawings, installation, photography and mixed media. His creative work highlights the controversy surrounding the purpose of our living today, as well as the impact of technology on the wider society, the living culture and the environment. It also reveals the sarcasm, coldness, and emptiness in our society today. Through ground research and personal life events, his art work expresses a realistic vision of the world reflected under a mind of self-consciousness and freedom. It also exhibits his hope for the future.
姚志良，香港當代藝術家，現於香港生活及設立工作室進行創作。2018 年畢業於浸會 大學視覺藝術碩士學位課程，主修藝術創作與延伸媒介。2015 年於澳洲皇家墨爾本理 工大學 Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT)取得藝術文學士學位，主修繪畫， 同年獲關晃先生紀念獎學金。2016 年成為 Young Talent Hong Kong 首十位焦點新晉藝術 家之一。他的創作媒材主要以繪畫、裝置、攝影及混合媒介為主。他的作品受邀參與 地世界多地的展覽及私人收藏。
姚氏的創作專注探索當代生活和存在之間的矛盾關係，以及科技對於整體社會、文化 和環境帶來的影響，同時亦揭示世界的荒謬、冷漠和虛無。透過實地考察記錄及個人 經驗驗，從創作實踐的過程中，體現出真實的世界、自身的存在感和自由意志，也釋 放出對未來世界的希望。
