Breathe Life Arts and Culture is co-founded by artists Susan Yeung and Ada Chan.  It's mission is to arouse public awareness on environmental issues through arts & culture. Inclusive of a range of mediums such as visual arts, short films and music, artists from Hong Kong share their perceptions of society and its core values through the platforms we created every year.

The first Breathe Life Arts Exhibition debuted in one of Beijing's most prestigious museums, Today’s Art Museum in September 2011, and was well-received with significant media coverage and good public attendance. It was such a phenomenal success that the show was encored at the Siemens Art Space at 798, Beijing the following month. In March 2012, Breathe Life Arts Exhibition – Shanghai had the privilege to be part of WWF’s annual "Earth Hour" event that was dedicated to promote energy conservation.  In 2013, “Breathe Life Arts Exhibition – Love Continues in Hong Kong, 2013” was held at ArtisTree, Island East, we were honored to have Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong as our sole Beneficiary Organization. From 2010 till 2021, Breathe Life has put together more than 20 art exhibitions in various cities such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul and Shanghai and were well-received by art lovers and public audience.

The group has also gained unanimous support from professional and esteemed organizations in Hong Kong who are committed to join hands and endorse this project whole heartedly. These organizations have recognized the group’s effort and mission in promoting positive energy and empathy through art.
 
「生息藝術文化」由藝術家陳竹君和楊素珊共同創立。它的使命是通過藝術和文化喚起公眾對環境問題的認識。包括視覺藝術、短片和音樂等一系列媒介，香港藝術家通過我們每年創建的平台分享他們對社會的看法及其核心價值觀。

「生息藝術文化」的誕生源自愛，這份愛深藏在熱愛大自然的藝術家心中。對他們而言，地球最原始、最美麗的面貌應該得到保留，不僅為自己，更為了下一代能夠同樣享受到自然的饋贈。首屆「生息藝術展」於2011年9月在北京最負盛名的博物館之一今日美術館首次亮相，受到媒體廣泛報導和公眾參與度高的好評。這場展覽取得了驚人的成功，次月在北京 798 號的西門子藝術空間再次上演。2012年3月，呼吸生命藝術展——上海有幸參加世界自然基金會一年一度的“地球一小時”活動，致力於促進節能。2013年，「生息藝術展—愛在香港延續，2013」於港島東ArtisTree舉辦，我們很榮幸香港海洋公園保育基金成為我們唯一的受惠機構。自2010-2021年間，「生息藝術文化」已在北京、香港、首爾、上海等多個城市舉辦了20多個藝術展覽，受到藝術愛好者和公眾的好評與關注。
